Easthampton Savings Bank Announces Promotions at Quarterly Meeting
EASTHAMPTON, MA: Williams S. Hogan Jr., President of Easthampton Savings Bank announced the following promotions at the recent Quarterly Meeting of the Directors.
Lynn Starr was promoted to Senior Vice President Chief Information Officer. Starr joined the bank in 2000 as Assistant Vice President of Systems and promoted to Vice President of Systems & Operations in 2003. Starr has over 35 years of banking experience. She holds an MBA in Community Bank Executive Management from the University College at the University of Maryland.
She is responsible for managing the Deposit Operations and Information Technology areas. Starr’s focus is on developing strategic products and services, vendor management and contract negotiations. She is also responsible for executing operational objectives to achieve key technological and operational goals.
Starr has served as Board Chair of Riverside Industries, is a board member of Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts and volunteers for Highland Valley Elder Services and the Easthampton Chamber of Commerce. She resides with her husband in Southampton.
Robert Wheten was promoted to Vice President Commercial Credit Officer. Wheten, who joined the bank in September 2001 as a Credit Analyst, was promoted to Senior Credit Analyst in 2005. He was promoted to Commercial Credit Officer in 2007and to Assistant Vice President Commercial Credit in 2008.
Wheten manages credit quality and supervises the underwriting of the bank’s larger commercial loans.
He attended the University of Buffalo, where he studied Accounting and Business Management. Wheten resides in Florence.
Heather Latour was promoted to Assistant Vice President Residential Lending. Latour joined the bank in 1998 as a Loan Servicer and was promoted to Loan Processor in 1999 and to Loan Specialist in 2002. In 2005 She was promoted to Senior Loan Specialist and then to Senior Loan Officer in 2011.
Latour is responsible for originating and underwriting loans. She also handles loan approvals and loan closings.
Latour has taken CFT courses in Residential Lending and is a Pioneer Valley Realtor Affiliate. She is a member of the Easthampton Rotary Club. Latour resides in Easthampton.
