About the Community Revitalization Fund
We all want one thing for Northampton: a thriving economy and community. Because of this, the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) and its affiliate, the Downtown Northampton Association (DNA), are asking you to support a dedicated Community Revitalization Fund that will provide grant awards to eligible small businesses in Northampton, Florence, and Leeds as they reopen and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Your gift of any size will make an impact and help struggling businesses to continue to provide the goods and services that make our economy and community strong.
The Community Revitalization Fund is designed to support privately-owned, small businesses that have fewer than 100 full-time employees (or the equivalent of 100 full-time employees).
As soon as the Fund raises its first $75,000, we will begin accepting applications for grant awards. Additional phases of grant awards will be announced as fundraising targets are met. A small team of dedicated grant reviewers has been assembled and will be tasked with evaluating and recommending businesses for the awards.
Grant funds may be used to purchase inventory, supplies, personal protection equipment (PPE), or pay for professional services, rent, and so much more.
