Event Description:
The Northampton Community Music Center (NCMC) presents a Spring Choral Concert on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 6:30 PM featuring local choirs from NCMC. The concert will be held at Edwards Church at 297 Main Street in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts.
The Spring Choral Concert showcases High Definition directed by Catherine Kay, the Ku’umba Women’s Choir directed by Evelyn Harris, and the Northampton Community Children’s Choir, directed by Agnes Zsigmondi-McCraven. Singers in these groups come from all over the Pioneer Valley and rehearse weekly during the academic year at the music center. Admission is free, though donations are gratefully accepted to support NCMC’s scholarship fund.
Founded in 1986, the Northampton Community Music Center is a not-for-profit arts organization whose mission is to foster the love and pursuit of music within our community through quality education, performances, and events that are accessible to all.
