Ensuring high quality, clean recyclables is always important, but is especially important in the current market conditions. The best step that businesses and institutions can take is to work with employees, visitors, and trash and recycling contractors to ensure that they are keeping recyclables out of the trash and keeping trash and other contaminants out of the recycling bin.

 

Join RecyclingWorks in Massachusetts (RecyclingWorks) on Thursday May 30 at 2pm for a presentation that will describe best practices to ensure your organization is collecting the proper plastic materials for recycling. RecyclingWorks is a program funded by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) to provide free recycling assistance for Massachusetts businesses and institutions. In addition to the more commonly recycled materials such as paper, cardboard, and containers, we have expertise in hard-to-recycle materials such as electronics, fluorescent light bulbs, pallets, and construction materials.
