Event Description:
This 10 hour construction safety course is intended for entry level participants and covers OSHA standards that are most commonly cited and provides and intensive study of occupational safety and health compliance. Massachusetts law requires that all employees on a prevailing rate job and all employees who work on public construction sites in Massachusetts have completed an approved OSHA 10-hour course in construction. Each student receives an OSHA 10-hour card upon successful completion.
This series of three classes is being taught by David Travers, Smith Vocational and Agricultural mechanics shop teacher for more than twenty-five years. Classes meet for three and a half hours once per week for three weeks.
