  • Share:
Name: New Horizons Senior Band Meet and Greet
Date: January 24, 2017
Time: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM EST
Event Description:
Join us at the Northampton Community Music Center for a free informational session / meet & greet for our New Horizons senior band program!

New Horizons is an opportunity for seniors and retired persons to participate in a fun, positive, and engaging musical atmosphere while learning the dynamic skill of playing a brass or woodwind instrument.

This meet and greet is a great opportunity to learn more about the program, which will focus on brass and woodwind instruments and run from March 2nd to May 20th, meeting twice a week. There will be instruments, provided by Falcetti Music, for people to try out or rent, as well as a technician available to assess your own instrument's need for repair, should you already have one.

New Horizons is an international program with over 175 official chapters. New Horizons Bands are a supportive environment designed for adults who either never had the chance to learn an instrument in their youth or haven't played in a long time. All are welcome!
