Event Description:
Volunteers with the GNCC will help fill two important roles at the Seconds Sale: packers and monitors. Packers will help safely pack and bag items for shoppers at the checkout counter, as well as re-stock and tidy the gallery as requested by the lead staff member/volunteer in the gallery. Monitors will greet shoppers as they arrive, help answer questions, give directions to other galleries, and assist in tidying/re-stocking the gallery as requested.
The day's work will be broken up into 2 shifts with a maximum of 16 volunteers in total. Please choose one of two time slots when registering:
First Shift 10:00am-1:00pm
Second Shift 1:00pm-4:00pm

A note on parking:
Volunteers are welcome to park in any of the available on-campus parking spaces that our guests use. There will be signage up to clearly designate those areas. Generally, when staff arrive in the morning, we park in the lot at the very back of our campus and would suggest that volunteers arriving in the AM also park in the back lot, but they are welcome to park wherever space is available. It is a pretty busy event, but with shoppers coming and going throughout the day, we don't generally have any issue with the availability of parking.
