Event Description:
Join us for our netWORK series, where we partner with a local non-profit and invite our Greater Northampton Chamber community to participate in a project to benefit that organization. Click here to watch the netWORK segment from The GNCC Show!
For this netWORK event, we'll team up with ServiceNet's Prospect Meadow Farm. The farm is the first therapeutic farming community in the Pioneer Valley – providing meaningful agricultural employment for people with developmental disability, autism, or mental health challenges.
Volunteer work for the day will be broken up into two shifts, and tasks will include Field Work (weeding/harvesting), Mushroom Work, and Animal Work. Volunteers should arrive dressed for farmwork with appropriate clothes and shoes!
First Shift: 9:45am to 12pm (with lunch from 12 to 1)
Includes welcome, tour, volunteer project.
Volunteers are welcome to stay for lunch/networking provided by ServiceNet’s Rooster Café.
Second Shift: 12:45pm to 2:30pm (with lunch from 12 to 1)
Includes welcome, tour, and volunteer project.
Volunteers are welcome to arrive early for lunch/networking provided by ServiceNet’s Rooster Café.
