Moderated by Deborah Cohen of Human In Common, this discussion will cover themes of why diversity in leadership is paramount, and how to sustain inclusivity as organizations move forward.

John Bidwell, United Way of Hampshire County
John Bidwell is Executive Director of United Way of Hampshire County. John's background is in strategic planning, marketing, and branding, most notably with nonprofits. He is co-author of Shores Beyond Shores: From Holocaust to Hope (2017). John served in the Peace Corps in Mali and holds a BA from McGill University.
Jeff Harness, Cooley Dickinson Health Care
Jeff Harness is the Chief Community Relations and Communications Officer at Cooley Dickinson. He has an extensive background in public health in the region and serves as the executive sponsor for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Kevin McCarthy, Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery
Kevin J. McCarthy, LICSW, a licensed clinical social worker, specializes in assisting people with co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use disorders. He is the Clinical Coordinator for Substance Addiction Services at Eliot Community Human Services and serves on the board of the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery. He considers himself a social worker for social justice and DEI changemaker in the human services industry.
Jennifer Nery, Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce
Jennifer Nery is a licensed acupuncturist and wellness tycoon at CLINIC Alternative Medicines. She has served on the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors for 3 years, and has been on its nominating committee for 4 years!
