Event Description:
On February 22nd at the Anchor House, come hear the extraordinary sounds of the Creative Cello Ensemble. Founded by English cellist Ben Davis, the group is made up of five cellists with inter-genre experience and a binding interest in improvisation. Influenced by the likes of Cecil Taylor, Wadada Leo Smith, Ellery Eskerlin, they blur the line between improvised and composed. Doors at 6 pm, music at 7.
