Want to learn how to fix a flat? Or dial in your brakes? Or even straighten a wheel? This course covers bike maintenance, detailing the different parts of a bicycle and how the parts work together. Class size is limited to four students, assuring everyone a place to work. Classes meet for two hours once per week for four weeks. The total cost is $160.
The first class will be an introduction to the course and cover flat repair at Smith Vocational High School, 80 Locust Street, Northampton. The next three classes will take place at Full Circle Bike Shop, 30 North Maple Street, Florence. For all but the first class, repair stands will be available for you to learn techniques on your own bicycle. I will have tools for you to use or feel free to bring your own. Your kids are welcome to join you if they are interested in learning how to fix their bikes too!
This class is being taught by Jason Graves, Owner of Full Circle Bike Shop. The first of class will take place on Tuesday, November 1st, from 6-8 pm at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School.
