Event Description:
The Northampton Community Music Center (NCMC) presents Springfest, an annual celebration of music in downtown Northampton, on Saturday, May 20th 2017, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. This musical event showcases a wide range of individual students and ensembles from the Northampton Community Music Center, from elementary-school-aged Suzuki cello, violin, and guitar students to the Pioneer Valley New Horizons Band for senior citizens. Performances will begin on the half-hour at several sites along Main Street in downtown Northampton between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm. Each performance is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted and benefit NCMC’s scholarship fund.
