At The Greater Us, we approach inequity and harassment as community rather than individual problems. Our approach combines organizational assessments, trainings and workshops, and coaching of leadership and management to promote cultures of respect, civility, and inclusion. We aim to meet the gaps that often exist between good intentions and positive impact by empowering companies, institutions, and community groups with the tools they need to create environments in which everyone can thrive. Our methods are intellectual and experiential, combining research-based understandings of the issues with innovative, reflective approaches to change.
Workshops: For businesses, academic institutions, professional and scientific societies, faith groups, and nonprofits, we take a comprehensive approach to creating interventions that provoke lasting organizational change. All of our packages include organizational assessments, workshops and trainings, and coaching of leadership and management. Because culture and dynamics vary a great deal by industry and organization, we tailor our workshops to the context in which we are working.
Community Work: We support grassroots, survivor, and activist groups engaged in work on violence, discrimination, and related issues using a variety of tools including talks, interactive presentations, education sessions, and storytelling methodologies.
