about us

Farm fresh milk, butter and ice cream. Light lunches, small group tours and educational discussions. Open year-round, seven days, seasonal hours.

Cook Farm was purchased in 1909 by Joseph Cook. It has been handed down through three generations. The farm is currently run by Gordon Jr. and Gordon III (Hank), with the 5th generation of Cook 'farmers', living on the farm. Cook Farm is proud to have won Premier Breeder for 18 consecutive years at the Massachusetts State Show. Our strongest family, the Fayvor family, is one of the best in the breed for high protein and butterfat tests.

Our Flayvors Restaurant, which opened in September 1998, has continued to expand its menu and product line while maintaining our emphasis on quality. We now make ice cream with Fair Trade ingredients as well!

Flayvors of Cook Farm on South Maple Street in Hadley invites you to stop by and enjoy the hospitality of a fifth generation family dairy farm.

The farm owned by the Cook Family since 1909 features both Holstein and Jersey cattle. Now the Cooks wish to introduce to you, Flayvors, where you can experience the taste of homemade ice cream with over 24 flayvors to pick from.

There are cones, sundaes, or frappes to enjoy here or take home a hand packed pint or quart. Also available are light lunches - fresh salads, deli style sandwiches and delicious baked goods.
