Join us for the Teddy Bear Tea!

Come with your child, grandchild, or other young child as your guest – and their favorite stuffed animal is invited! 

Join us for afternoon tea and refreshments, and fun indoor and outdoor activities including a selfie station with props, arts and crafts, and story readings. Children will receive some surprises to take home!

We are thrilled to have local author Jane Dyer, join us for a read-aloud!

Jane is the beloved illustrator of more than fifty books for children, iand the author of the well-loved Brown Bear book series.
The Teddy Bear Tea is a special event raising funds for Strong Foundations for Young Children, which provides support services to Hampshire County families of children birth to 5, who may be struggling with social-emotional or behavioral challenges.

Join us for refreshments, and fun activities including a selfie photo booth, crafts and
story readings. Children will receive surprises to take home.
The Teddy Bear Tea is a fundraising event for Strong Foundations for
Young Children, which provides support services to Hampshire County
families with children birth to 5, who may be struggling with socialemotional,
or behavioral challenges.
Because of our matching grant from donor Susan Klopton-Levine and
John Levine, funds raised for Strong Foundations will be matched dollar for
dollar. Every $500 will help a new Strong Foundations family.
Tickets to the Teddy Bear Tea are $35 for adults and $20 for children.
The fare will include a variety of tea sandwiches for adults and children,
fresh fruit and cheese, and delicious desserts and pastries. This is the
perfect afternoon celebration for you, your child and their special friend.

Workshop: Advanced Tips and Tricks with Microsoft Word
Presented by: Pioneer Training
This workshop will go beyond the basics and explore some of Word's more advanced features. You'll learn how to use Word styles to make global changes to a document quickly and easily. The class will also cover working with templates to automate document creation. You'll learn to use several of Word's features for working with longer documents – adding a table of contents, inserting section breaks, inserting headers and footers, and inserting/modifying page numbers. You'll practice using Track Changes, Word's collaboration feature that lets you add comments to a document, as well as view and edit the changes made by other editors. Finally, the class will cover new features in Word 2016, including editing PDF's directly in Word, the new Help system including Smart Lookup, and Real-Time Co-Authoring.  A list of handy keyboard shortcuts will also be provided to participants.
