The pandemic has resulted in businesses experiencing difficulty with attracting, hiring and retaining employees. This discussion will provide information and resources available to you through the MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center and State workforce development programs.
MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center provides employment and training services at no charge to job seekers and employers in Franklin County, Hampshire County, and the North Quabbin area. Our full-service career center is located in Greenfield. We operate satellite access points at Forbes Library in Northampton and at The Literacy Project Office in Orange.
Penni Menard has 16 years? experience with Workforce Development. She worked 8 years as a Staffing Specialist including during the Great Recession of 2007 ? 2009. The last 8 years she has worked for the MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center in Business Services. Her work allows her to assist businesses with recruiting needs, training opportunities, job description assistance and referrals to other available resources for businesses in the Commonwealth.
